Another day of track marking the latest extension, currently we have 95km marked in our management areas and 15.5km to go in this expansion round.

And that's a wrap! 2 weeks, 3 dedicated surveyors,

And that's a wrap! 2 weeks, 3 dedicated surveyors, over 1,200 ha surveyed and Rotoehu officially has 133 pairs and 8 singles, bringing our total kokako population to 274 kokako!

Suz Phillips, Shane Witehira and Fiona McIntosh all had the closest guesses so we'll be in touch to organise some goodies for them.

Just 2 days left to go for our census and I think it's fair to say the results so far have blown us away! Looking like we're going to end up with around double the population of the 2013 census in around double the area. Awesome results #happydance #celebration #kokako 💕🎉🐦

We have cracked the 100 pair mark! Now up to 108 pairs and <10 singles. This is awesome news as the very low number of singles to pairs means that most of our kokako are partnered up which means improved likelihood of breeding 💕🎉🐦🐦
